I stumbled across Kacie Marie while surfing the net this morning. Well, actually, I was scanning through website templates at Squarespace as I do from time to time to get some visual ideas for my own site/blog. Anyway, I was looking at one of the templates and they use the sites of real users as examples for you to see.

The imagery on her site caught my attention at first like the one up top. Through her site I discovered that she is a vintage pin-up model whose photographs have hit the covers of many books and magazines across the globe. Okay, that’s cool, but what really grabbed me though was discovering that she is also a solo music artist.
The song below, California Rain from her album Girls From Mars seems very dreamy and emotional to me and instantly became a favorite, so I had to share it.
