SHOTGUN Project Journal: A Day Off

Well, I just finished slaving eleven straight days at work, and I finally get a day off tomorrow which will turn into a three day weekend for me. Pushing through my work marathon, I was able to get one scene done. It was a scene that introduces Sloan’s friend, a young female bouncer, named Carrie. It’s a pretty good scene, needs some tweaking of course, but I’ll come back to it later. Must move forward.

I plan on making the most of the my day off and use all of my free time to write. I’m going to dust off the desk in my office, yeah, the one I don’t use, set up my laptop, tune out the world, and tune into my screenplay. I’ll let you know what I crank out.
