A deadly organism, capable of spreading a genetic virus that can mutate any life-form it encounters, has gone berserk in a lab on a small moon at the edges of human space. Cameron, a cold-hearted woman, and Commander of an elite squad of genetically engineered soldiers have been ordered to kill the creature, but amongst all the death and destruction, she uncovers secrets that will push her loyalties to the limits and make her question the purpose of her very existence.
