My Top 3 Favorites on this album are: What I’m Gonna BeLove On It, and Brash Picking.

While continuing to learn how to play the guitar, I took it upon myself to start learning about music theory and chord progressions. For whatever reason, this project has many more rock elements than my other ones.

I like expressing myself and telling stories through song, and when I can’t write I often turn to making music.

At first, it was a bit daunting, but like with my other interests, once I get my claws in, I don’t let go. For me, learning about chord progressions, at least, was like realizing I knew something I didn’t know I knew, if that makes any sense. It just all seemed to fit and was fairly easy to comprehend early on. Obviously, I’m still learning, but I’m having a lot of fun while I’m doing it which is what really matters.
