How long does it usually take you to complete an entire story—from planning to writing to posting (if you post your work)?

Well, if it’s something that I’m going to post in its entirety, I’d say anywhere from a month to three months depending on how big the story is. I split the time into three sections: Develop, Write, Edit. So, if the story is on the larger side, I’ll give myself a month to develop it, a month to write it, and another month to edit it. If the story is smaller and I give myself a month to get it done, that month is split up the same: about to week to develop, another week or so to write, and you get the picture.
