The Walking Dead! (and the fact that my son like’s Sprout)
But, as far as Adult Reasons, the only one my wife and I still have for keeping cable is because of The Walking Dead.
The story is great, the characters are cool, the character arcs are even better, and with the Season 4 Mid-Season Finale around the corner, it means that some of those cool characters are on the chopping block.
So, to use one of my wife’s adorable expressions:
“My Nerves are bad! I can’t take it! I can’t, I can’t!”
Yeah, that what she actually says every time someone mentions the Mid Season Finale, lol!
Ever since watching last nights episode, we’ve been going back and forth about who’s going to die next Sunday. You can’t always go by the comics, which we’ve read/are reading, but sometimes you can, but you never know when. They always switch it up on you somehow. (I tip my Writers Hat to the show.)
The Governor’s bringing a tank to the prison next Sunday. When he did it in the comic, certain characters died in that confrontation. On the TV Show, some of those characters are already dead, and some are not.
So, obviously, some of those who are still alive will take the place of those who already died. But WHO? Damn it!
I don’t think I’m ready to let anyone go right now. Well, some characters are cannon fodder, but most of them? I’m just not ready yet. Don’t know if I’ll every be!
At any rate, I wrote a list of who I think is going to live and die and why and reaction:
So that’s my overall prediction for the Mid-Season Finale and possibly the Mid-Season Return, depending on if they really want to leave us hanging.
If I had my way, I’d really keep everybody for the rest of the season, but I hear they are supposed to be bringing in 3 more characters from the comics. so, if anything, that could be mean at least 3 current characters will die instead of the six I predicted.
Hey, then again, some characters may not die at all. They are supposed to be working on a spin-off show, I believe. Some characters could get separated from the main group and wind of on that show instead of dying (yeah, right) No, really. (yeah, right)
Even still, I look at my list over and over and all I can say is:
