Today, I felt like sharing some of my newbie attempts at photography. A couple of years ago, I took some pictures of a really interesting industrial area.
These were taken around an area I used to work in. It’s a very interesting place visually, very industrial. The decay and overgrowth easily inspired the storyteller in me and gave birth to questions like: What did this place look like before it was developed? What did look like once it was developed and the machines and surrounding structures were brand new? Through time, why were these things neglected, abandoned, and left to decay?
Nothing lasts forever, so I didn’t want to miss out on a chance to photograph parts of this place.
It’s such vast area, I wish I had more time to wander around and photograph everything, especially throughout the seasons and adverse weather. I suppose one day, I could always visit it again with the sole purpose of photographing the place. At least, for now, I have these pictures and others to keep it’s memory fresh in my mind.
