Return…

The young woman is not strong enough, and the strength of the clan must be held above all else. With her sternest rejection, Amachi tells the would-be-warrior, now kneeling in the grass with tear streaked cheeks, to return when she becomes stronger for the weak breed weakness where the strong breed strength.

“If you are indeed strong, in spirit at least, my rejection alone will strengthen you, and I suspect that one day, you will return to me stronger than you are now. Until then, leave!”

  1. ‘The weak breed weakness’, I like this line. Very good. This line, “If you are indeed strong, in spirit at least, my rejection alone will strengthen you, and I suspect that one day, you will return to me stronger than you are now.” This sentence shows such depth of character and wisdom. You’re good.

    1. Thank you very much. I’m glad you like it! The character, Amachi has gone through a lot to dispense such wise words. She is definitely speaking from experience.
