This journal update is a little late, but yet again, another crazy weekend had to be dealt with.
At any rate, I was able to get the first five pages of the script down. My two MC’s, Billie and Sloan, have finally crossed paths and had their “Love At First Sight” moment. Though it was kind of awkward with it being in an hospital emergency room, and neither of them looking their best, but “True Love” transcends the physical, right? Yeah, that’s what I thought.
I’m only a couple scenes away before Sloan realizes that Billie is more than just the battered woman he saw storming out of the emergency room, and Billie sees, up close and personal, why Sloan had to get his knuckles bandaged. Out of life comes violence, right? Right. From my calculations, I should be able to get those two elements into the next five pages to post as my 10 page preview in my screenplay section.
Though odd in circumstances, the more I write for them, the more I realize that Billie and Sloan are truly made for each other. Gotta love those crazy kids. In the meantime, I’ll be waiting to get back to them over the next couple of weeks.
